Hello & welcome from IWeLife! We're dedicated to making Atlanta the fittest city in the country. With that being said, we have lots of fun upcoming races for 2015 you won't want to miss! Be sure to check out our Upcoming Races Calendar and join the events. Our first event of the 2015 new year is the Urban Perform 5K/10K in Atlanta: Join us on February 21st as we run through Vine City, English Avenue and Washington Park neighborhoods, that are in the shadow of the Georgia Dome, to show that we are united in our support of making personal health a community effort! We're encouraging all participants to create or join a team. There will be awards for Fastest Team, Largest Team, Best Team Name and Highest Fundraising Team. Our next event is the Chattahoochee Road Runners Race on March 7th, 2015. 32nd Annual Chattahoochee Road Race Join 1000 or so fellow local and regional runners for this year’s edition! This is a very fast out and back with a .75 mile downhill finish! One of the fastest 5K & 10K races in Georgia and a great Peachtree Road Race seeded qualifier for both distances! Also, the event is one of the last chances to race before Peachtree registration opens in mid-March and to get your results submitted. The race benefits the Chattahoochee Road Runners! The Chattahoochee Road Runners' Club is a social club, which provides a forum for runners in and around the Atlanta area to meet to run, socializes, and discuss running and the running lifestyle. The club offers many opportunities and activities to its members including monthly meetings, a weekly email newsletter, and weekly-organized runs, as well as special events throughout the year. Complimentary beer from Red Hare Brewing Co. 21 and over, remember your ID's. Also Great American Cookies for all finishers! St. Patty's Day is in March, so what better way to celebrate than with a St. Patty's Day Parade Run/Walk on March 7th, 2015? Join your fellow parade revelers and runners for the inaugural event and “Green Your Soles!” Starting from one of the countries oldest St. Patrick’s Parades, the route runs through the roads of Midtown, Piedmont Park and finishes near the parade route on historic Peachtree Street! This unique race and lively post race parade is not to be missed. We are now partnering with Ri Ra Irish Pub in Midtown (new start/finish location on Crescent and 12th Ave.) All finishers 21 and over will receive a free pint of Guinness after the race and 20% off of food. Stick around for the St Patrick's Day Parade and come back to Ri Ra for their Block Party on 12th Ave with live music and beer (see combo ticket for pricing) Also, our benefiting charity is St. Balderick's Foundation and they will be hosting their annual head shaving for cancer fundraiser at Ri Ra's on Thursday March 12th. Shave your head on Thursday and run faster on Saturday! Free face painting before the parade for kids too! Award winners to the top 25 for both males and females. Overall male and female will be able to ride in the parade! With so many amazing races going around Atlanta, which one will you participate in?
