I would like to recommend Sean Pfister as your preferred Event Consultant. Sean served as our race director and event coordinator in 2011. In his role, he handled every aspect of the planning, development and execution of our races, which were held in eight different cities across the country on the same day. Each race was a tremendous success thanks to Sean’s ability to lead, direct and guide the local race directors’ efforts.

2011 was our first 5k. We were completely overwhelmed by the daunting tasks, however, Sean came to our rescue and we couldn’t have been happier. Sean reassured us that we could do it and with his help, “do it” we did! We were extremely satisfied with Sean’s ability to facilitate and manage the entire process from beginning to end, thus allowing us to offload the responsibilities of the race on him so we could focus on our main tasks.

Sean has excellent written and verbal communication skills, is extremely organized, works well independently, and is able to effectively multi-task to ensure that all projects are completed in a timely manner. His creativity and experience were truly the difference between what could have been a very mediocre event and the outstanding event each of our races turned out to be.

Below are just a few of the tasks Sean handled with ease, excellence and care:

• Advisory: co-Facilitated initial introductory webinar with city captains and volunteers, researched registration/donation companies for our event, created press releases, marketing/promotion, race entry fee breakdown, age group breakdown, division of awards categories, banner size, race director screening, timing company point of contact, contract negotiation, race bib type, advance and day of race logistics/security/permitting/waivers, course measurement, volunteer assignments, chipped vs electronic timing, prize winner notification, and post-race survey development.
• Active.com (for all eight locations): Site management including race details, updating prizes for winners, obtaining discount coupon codes, uploading photos, maintaining and regular reporting of participants’ status, providing final race results per city and overall, handling any issues we had with Active.
• Facebook: Created, updated and maintained pages for each location as pictures and sponsors provided notification of support.
