Stomping Out Obesity 5K- 4/18/15

On April 18th, 2015, runners joined Gwinnett Medical Center at Tribble Mill Mark in Lawrenceville to "Stomp Out Obesity"

Raising Obesity Awareness. Changing Lives.

More than 93 million Americans are affected by the disease of obesity. Here in Georgia, our obesity is rated 17th in the country. More than 65% of our residents battle this disease.

All proceeds from this 5K are going to the Gwinnett Medical Center Foundation to help in our fight against obesity.

Over 200 runners attended this event. Chopper from the Atlanta Braves cheered everyone on.
We even had some 4-legged attendants, not to mention local park wildlife such as ducks & geese!
