About this Event4th Annual Three Taverns 5K is going virtual to help support our local charity partner during the pandemic.30-Day/30-Mile/30-$ Challenge! Starting 8/28! You have 30 days to run 30 miles and raise $30 for DCM and receive $12 gift card from Three Taverns too!New demand for Decatur Cooperative Ministry due to the pandemic…Since the initial declaration of a State of Health Emergency in Georgia, Decatur Cooperative Ministry has seen a 60% increase in requests for food assistance and while there is currently a moratorium on evictions, we continue to see an increase in requests for rental assistance from those renters who are housing burdened and those on the lengthy unemployment rosters. By the time, courts reopen in-person or virtual hearings, many people who lost income due to the pandemic will be five months behind with rental payments. Help Decatur Cooperative Ministry in our fight, in what some are calling the ”Eviction Storm”. DCM needs your help to offer case management, supportive services, food, shelter and financial assistance to aid YOUR neighbors in need.We're living in challenging and uncertain times.
